Marco E.: We have so much in the pipeline that I find it difficult to select one single product. Be it in the classic area of locking systems, which we are consistently developing into intelligent security systems, or in completely new product areas, where we first systematically build up our knowledge to then work specifically on topics that set us apart from competition.

Marco E.: An innovation typically begins with a latent customer request that we hear, for example, during an appointment on a completely different topic. This is followed by customer-independent pre-development to ensure technical and economic feasibility. We build virtual and physical prototypes and test them again and again. At the same time, we try to talk to customers as early as possible and get them excited about the innovation. If this is successful, the product is refined in series development. Of course, the customer then also contributes their ideas and requirements, which we naturally must consider.

Marco E.: Our mix of experience and enthusiasm for technology, coupled with an eye for what is feasible. We are constantly asking ourselves: “Is it of any use to our customers? Would it inspire them? Can it be smarter?” Innovation is a process that affects the entire company – and everyone can contribute to it. We are always happy to hear about new product ideas.
